The first part of our school year has certainly flown by! It is hard to believe that it is almost December.
While we wish that we could be seeing our classes in the library, we have loved connecting with our students in their classrooms with our mobile library! It has been amazing to see the library books back in the hands of our readers. In addition to using the classroom visits to bring books to the students, I also have been using the time to provide library and information skills instruction to our learners. During the visits, I will often give a library-related lesson, which is occasionally followed with a Seesaw activity to do at home. I also have been using Seesaw to send reminders about upcoming library cart visits so that students will know when to bring their books back! Our library schedule has been a bit different this year than in the past, so I hope that the Seesaw reminders has been helpful in communicating when we will be visiting classrooms! I'm looking forward to upcoming visits with the classrooms and sharing many great books and library skills with our learners!
